This is where Cadets go through to become an officer. Character must be made 3 months before joining New Starfleet, although you can join it immediately. However, it's more likely that you will advance to Captain quicker if you go through the Academy.

USS Enterprise
One of the most important starships in the entire Starfleet, the only starship that survived the Klingon War and the destruction of Stafleet. Originally she was decommissioned in 2278, but was rechristened and relaunched on Stardate 2279.24, when the Klingon began their invasion on San Francisco.
